The focus from the beginning has been to create a residence that is not only safe and supportive, but also grounded in clear expectations, consistency, and personal responsibility.
Every aspect of Sunrise Sober Living Residence has been intentionally designed to promote long-term recovery, stability, and growth, while helping residents build the foundation needed for independent and successful living.
Sunrise Sober Living Residence is actively working toward certification through National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) and the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS).
Although certification is currently in progress, Sunrise Sober Living Residence operates in alignment with the standards, best practices, and ethical guidelines established by these organizations.
These standards guide all aspects of the residence, including safety, structure, accountability, and resident care. Sunrise is committed to continuous improvement and to achieving full certification while maintaining a high-quality recovery environment for all residents.
